adesso Schweiz AG hasn’t stopped growing, and will be opening its sixth subsidiary, located in St Gall, in September. The new site will flex its muscles in the area of digital experience, further expanding adesso’s portfolio.

adesso has established a further subsidiary for its software product business. adesso manufacturing industry solutions GmbH offers the manufacturing sector a new, innovative industry solution for smart variant management. The concept makes it possible to thoroughly optimise processes in custom manufacturing, from variant configuration, creating quotes, handling orders and planning, through to production, commissioning and service.

Since the beginning of 2018, the consulting and IT service provider adesso Schweiz AG has been represented in Romandy (the French-speaking region of Switzerland) where it continues to drive forward its intensive strategy for growth. The branch office in Lausanne is now being reorganised and expanded. In addition to occupying larger office spaces, adesso is also filling new key positions.

The healthcare sector is a dynamic industry that reaps the benefits of digitalisation in a number of areas. One of these is digital communication between service and health insurance providers. This requires not only communication standards such as those set by SHIP or the ‘Global Forum on Transparency and Exchange of Information’, for example, but also specialist and technical expertise in development and problem solving – adesso combines both, thereby contributing significantly to the digitalisation of the Swiss healthcare sector.

The consulting and IT service provider adesso and Norwegian company Ibexa – provider of a Digital Experience Platform (DXP) – already work closely together in Germany. After having successfully implemented numerous customer projects in Germany, including the service portal of the Akf Bank, this fruitful partnership is now being expanded. adesso and Ibexa will work together to also implement future projects at B2B companies in Switzerland.

adesso has its first foothold in Northern Europe. With the newly founded national company adesso Nordics Oy in Helsinki, adesso, as one of the leading consulting and IT service providers in German-speaking countries, will now also open up the Northern European countries. adesso will market its portfolio in Scandinavia and the Baltic States from Finland on.

adesso Austria and adesso Schweiz come together to form a strong partner in Swiss insurance provider Mobiliar’s major digitalisation initiative. The eight-strong team from adesso is involved in the digitalisation project and is developing a code to automate contract invoicing.

PostFinance, one of Switzerland’s leading financial institutions, is modernising its entire application landscape and also migrating capable applications to its own cloud. adesso Schweiz AG is assisting PostFinance with this major project as implementation partner.

Zurich is moving forward: as part of its ‘Digital City’ IT strategy, the city’s tax office is launching a digital tax portal together with consulting and IT service provider adesso. This tax cockpit (‘Steuercockpit’) is a key channel for increasing customer proximity and acceptance, especially among the younger section of the population.

Consulting and IT service provider adesso Schweiz AG is expanding its role in the banking sector, entering into a strategic partnership with Hypothekarbank Lenzburg AG. The two companies are joining forces to further develop and market open banking solutions on the Swiss market.
