IT service provider adesso is now also represented in Bulgaria. Through the new national subsidiary in Sofia, adesso is expanding its nearshore set-up in Southern Europe, which it has already successfully established in Turkey. Thanks to the outsour-cing model, companies from the German-speaking region stand to benefit from cost savings for services relating to software development, maintenance and testing.

Companies that put customers at the centre of their efforts also have to adapt their centralised business processes, as the IT service provider adesso explains. This requires shifting customer journey management from individual departments to the level of company management.

With the presentation of its 2017 consolidated financial statements, adesso AG outperforms its adjusted forecast. Financial year 2017 set new records in terms of sales and profits (EBITDA). Sales grew by 23 % to EUR 321.6 million and the operating result (EBITDA) by 8 % to EUR 25.4 million. With the continuation of the ambitious growth strategy and higher investments in the development of new products, 2018 is set to see an increase in both sales and EBITDA.

It was a very special moment for adesso when senior UX designer Michael Schiblon started his new position on 2 January 2018 – because Schiblon is adesso’s 3,000th employee. This figure symbolises the huge increase in the number of employees at the IT provider which is systematically implementing its ambitious growth plans.

Asset manager Union Investment has contracted IT service provider adesso AG with developing a mobility architecture to expand the company’s enterprise mobility strategy. adesso AG recorded the most successful financial year in its 20-year history in 2016. The IT service provider’s sales rose by 33 % to EUR 260.4 million, while operating earnings increased by 61 % to EUR 23.1 million. Once again, the majority of sales growth – 19 % – was generated organically in 2016 and above all in Germany. Sales increased in all of adesso’s core sectors.
