Data protection in focus: compliant thanks to adesso

Challenge

With the entry into force of the revised Swiss Data protection law (and before that the european, General Data Protection Regulation), it was necessary to analyze the new legislation, identify gaps and derive the necessary measures. Above all, this needed to be done in a sustainable and resource-efficient manner.

In addition to implementing the new legal requirements, the main challenge was to involve all business areas with a large number of stakeholders in the necessary changes.

Solution

adesso supported Helsana as a consulting partner in the initialization of the necessary projects and in the design of the solutions. Following a risk-based prioritization, the necessary immediate measures had to be implemented first and the remaining measures worked through in an orderly manner.

adesso also took the lead in the concept and development of a tool support for the management of business-wide data protection information. This resulted in Prime - the adesso solution for data protection compliance.
