The benefits of job trainings and certifications and how it affects customer satisfaction

Client satisfaction at adesso and building things that actually work perfectly according to the requirements is our bread and butter. We analyze, build and strategize our clients for all their own individual futures. Experience and culture are our main drivers of our customer's excellence by working with us. 

However, we are also encouraged and empowered at adesso to certify for clients success, as well as on the job training and certification which is a perfect combination of dedication and further insight into the client's requirements.

For example, I joined a client in Life Sciences in a big M&A project with the merging of 2 major biotech players with distributed portfolios with little business collateral and cultural overlap. It was a classic digital and agile transformation in terms of integration and consolidation. I had done this once or twice before, but needed a quick boost of toolings and knowledge. So what did I do before I joined the client? adesso enabled me by making the ITIL 4 Foundation exam and certificate available for my upskilling prior to starting, since I would be working in IT Service Management. 

During the first 6 months of client interaction whilst performing my above and beyond duties 100% with the client on site, learning on two levels, the work needed to be done as well as the culture of work to adapt accordingly. I realized I needed further scrum methodologies and agile trainings certifications in Agile leadership, Kanban, scrum development, evidence-based management, not because the client worked in agile, but to help guide them in their successful integrations.

As my role after 9 months with a year and a half turnaround with the client, my own position solidified into an IT Service Management role, adesso then enabled me to go into an ITIL 4 Professional Change Enablement course and certification to better serve the client.

The role continued and cloud transformation projects were on the horizon, so adesso again allowed me to do the azure fundamentals from Microsoft, helping me understand further the growing requirements. 

My next certificate which my employer adesso enables me to further aid the client is the PMI-ACP which will help me introduce differing agile project methodologies in my further growing and aspiring role based on the client's trust.

The final one for the client planned as of publication of this article is the AWS associate to further build on my cloud transformation offering of my profile.

At the end of this ongoing process with the client, adesso has enabled both myself and the client to further upskill and tailor my CV to the changing and ongoing requirements of the client. This is a win win for all parties involved, allowing me to upskill on the job specific to client needs in order to further our success collectively together, but as a constant reminder that learning never stops no matter your age, background or current role. It proves once again, that learning and education is never set in stone, and it is never about getting that new paper or certificate with your name on it, but further striving endlessly to make things work like adesso always does. If you said to me as a former philosopher of metaphysics with a PhD, that you would be a Scrum Trainer and Cloud Certificated in less than 1 year, I would of told you that is nothing but fantasy, but at adesso everything is possible.
