Our digitized world is developing at an ever faster pace. The volume of data in circulation is increasing all the time, and a contemporary data protection law must be able to keep pace with the digital transformation. That is why the Swiss Data Protection Act is being adapted to European law. The new law creates more transparency and pursues two goals:

  • Prescribing the principles to be observed when processing personal data.
  • Regulating the rights of the persons whose data are collected.
