WHAT YOU CAN MOVE

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect, FinOps and SecOps expert with deep
expertise in AWS and Azure. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cloud
architecture, DevOps, security, networking, and cost optimization. This role requires hands-on
experience in cloud migrations, automation, infrastructure monitoring, and database management.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Cloud Architecture & DevOps
  • Architect and implement cloud solutions using AWS and Azure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Design and implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform.
  • Develop and manage containerized applications with Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure using Grafana, Datadog, Prometheus, and ELK stack.
  • Automate configuration management with Puppet.
  • Cloud Governance & Compliance.
  • Implement and manage cloud governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulatory standards.
  • Design and deploy AWS Control Tower and Landing Zone solutions to enforce security, compliance, and cost controls.
  • Establish automated guardrails and policies for multi-account AWS environments.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud compliance using policy-as-code tools and automation.
  • Security & Networking.
  • Implement best practices for AWS security, including identity management, encryption, and compliance controls.
  • Design and enhance cloud networking strategies to optimize security and performance.
  • Redesign existing cloud services to improve security posture and implement automation frameworks for proactive threat detection, monitoring, and mitigation.
  • Cloud Cost Optimization & FinOps.
  • Analyze and optimize cloud costs through effective FinOps strategies.
  • Develop automation, frameworks, and processes to track and reduce cloud spending.
  • Cloud Migrations.
  • Lead cloud migration initiatives for on-premise systems, including compute workloads and relational databases.
  • Migrate Microsoft Active Directory to Azure AD and ensure seamless integration with AWS and its services.
Atlassian Tools Management
  • Maintain and upgrade Atlassian tools such as BitBucket, Jira Software, and Jira Service Desk.
  • Execute migrations from Atlassian tools to alternative technology stacks.
  • Database & Data Lake Implementation.
  • Design, implement, and manage data lakes from scratch.
  • Administer and optimize PostgreSQL and MySQL databases.

HOW YOU SUCCEED

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • At least 15 years of experience 
  • AWS and Azure Solutions Architect.
  • AWS DevOps Certified Professional.
  • Extensive experience in Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Grafana, Datadog, Prometheus, ELK stack, and Puppet.
  • Expertise in AWS security and networking best practices.
  • Strong background in cloud migrations, including AD to Azure AD transitions and database
    migrations.
  • Proven experience in cost optimization strategies for cloud environments.
  • Experience with Atlassian tool migrations and alternatives.
  • Proficiency in PostgreSQL and MySQL database management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good experience in programming languages - Python and Java.
  • Flexibility: Switzerland with frequent travel in Europe
  • Language skills: excellent English and at least A1 German skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with multi-cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with automation tools for threat detection and mitigation.
  • Prior experience with large-scale enterprise cloud transformations.
