In turn, this enabled adesso Schweiz to achieve again record sales in the past year. Having already increased sales by 21 per cent in 2019, the company achieved impressive growth of 17 per cent in the past financial year compared to the previous year.

As a result of the pandemic, the services provided by the pharmaceutical industry have become even more relevant to the general population than they were already. The whole vaccine issue and accompanying regulations are literally life-saving at the moment. The adesso ‘Life Sciences’ business line was able to continue to expand its strong role in 2020 and support companies in the pharmaceutical industry, medical technology sector and laboratory diagnostics area with in-depth expertise and excellent solutions.

What does the future hold?
The market will be grappling with these challenges for some time to come. The challenges will also put pressure on companies to adapt quickly to changing conditions.
