adesso is still on an expansion course and is increasing its presence in Switzerland. Following the opening of an office in Lausanne, the company has now also established itself in the country’s Italian-speaking region by opening its new office in a central location in Lugano.
The Canton of Ticino has developed into an important investment location in Europe over the last few years and now offers the perfect business conditions for attracting and developing new talent. The new foothold in Lugano means adesso can now tap into sales markets in this region and attract skilled professionals. Here, adesso offers high-end services for the other adesso locations in Switzerland under the banner ‘TI-Shore’ – a portmanteau of the words Ticino and onshore – enabling processes and costs to be optimised significantly. Plus, regional customers also have access to the comprehensive portfolio of consultation and IT services. This will provide a further boost to the growth trajectory of the Swiss subsidiary.
The office will be led by Andrea Buzzi, who will also become a member adesso Schweiz AG’s management team as Head of Business TI-Shore. Buzzi graduated from the University of St. Gallen and speaks fluent Italian, French, English and German. His ability to speak multiple languages and his 20-plus years of experience in business and IT consultancy means he has built up an extensive network, especially in Ticino, which he can successfully bring into the fold in his new role. adesso has already launched an initial innovative project in Ticino: starting from February 2020, AI-based software and cutting-edge technology will enable football fans to follow the home games of FC Agno on the streaming platform aisportswatch.com.
