With these four new branches in 2016, adesso is opening an unprecedented number of offices in a single year. In doing so, the IT service provider is systematically pursuing its service approach of gaining maximum proximity to customers, and is securing even broader access to qualified IT specialists. All four cities are home to renowned universities and technical colleges that offer courses of study in IT. This allows adesso to position itself as a local, attractive employer for highly educated young graduates.

It is based in Tullnau-Carée in the heart of Nuremberg and is close to the city’s Technische Hochschule. The office is managed by Manfred Bögelein, Head of an adesso competence center for banking, and will start with around 20 employees. There are already concrete plans to expand the office. In Nuremberg, adesso will be able to immediately support existing customers locally such as ING-DiBa, Nürnberger Versicherung, ERGO Direkt, TeamBank and the Federal Employment Agency, and respond to the growing demands for IT on the part of banks and public-sector companies based in Franconia.

The Aachen office will be managed by Dirk Platz, Head of Insurance at adesso, and will also start off with 20 employees. adesso already cooperates closely with the Generali Group in Aachen. With our latest expansion, we are, of course, also laying the foundation for winning more new customers locally and for continuing our growth strategy,” commented Mark Lohweber, Head of Banking at adesso. “Due to our local presence, we can also attract qualified IT specialists more directly.”
