Legacy application modernisation is a much-discussed topic at the moment. It is an issue that concerns 90 per cent of mainframe users who are in search of a solution to their dependency on mainframes. Why is this an issue? What solutions are available on the market? What is the current situation today and what services can adesso transformer offer to replace legacy systems? Is there a one-size-fits-all approach to legacy application modernisation? Many companies struggle to develop a true cloud strategy. In addition, it’s often unclear which concrete steps have to be taken to transfer the applications after the decisions to switch to the cloud and which cloud provider to use have been made.
