Ciao Paola - we welcome our 100th employee in 2022

Ciao Paola, first of all a very warm welcome to adesso! And congrats for being the 100th adessi that we employed this year. How does this make you feel?

Bingo! I'm really happy to be this record because this means that I'm a part of a company that grows, offers security and above all takes care of their employees to celebrate its growth!

How did you experience your start with us so far? And what about being an adessi excites you the most?

Let me say that at this moment I see a well-structured company that pays attention to the new employees but also to those who are already a part of it. It's reassuring and empowering to see colleagues happy to be part of adesso. So for me it’s really a pleasure to work in such a comfortable environment. And I see that in this way you can only give the best of your work to customers. So yes, I can say that I'm super excited and can't wait to arrive even more in the adesso structures and culture and give my support to adesso.

Tell us a little bit more about yourself: What competences and experiences do you bring to adesso?

I worked as a developer and testing engineer in several projects and big international companies. Certainly, I'll bring to adesso all my knowledge and working experience, and I’m helping to expand our business area. And why not, give also a woman’s touch to my embedded team!

Good point! You’re not only the 100th adessi that started working for us this year, but also the first woman in the embedded team in Lugano. We guess this is something that you’re used to in this field? How do you handle it?

Exactly! I think undoubtedly women have in general innate skills, they are different from men. Those different skills, for example a different sensibility and attention to a problem, allow to diversify and harmonize the work environment independently from engineering approach. So I think that now the embedded team is more complete and can increase its competitiveness. So let’s grow adesso TI shore.

If you’re not working, what is your secret for a well balanced lifestyle?

The most of my free time is dedicated to my family since 10 months; I became mother in November of last year! I like to know my son day by day, suggest him games to grow his experience and discover our beautiful habits that make us feel good. We are building our own balance and this needs to have all my attention and energy after I finished my work.

There isn't any secret, I'm more and more convinced that starting an experience, either professional or private, in the right way allows you to be always a step ahead.
